VIEW-ITTM IR & UV Detectors
VIEW-ITTM, a high-efficiency, laser-sensitive ceramic disc, provides a convenient method of viewing beam shape, mode structure and beam alignment when held in the path of a laser beam.
VIEW-ITTM requires no charging and provides an unlimited period of viewing for both pulsed and continuous wave lasers. Beam quality and mode structures can be observed in real time.
Principle of Operation: White ceramic disc with strong nonlinear (up-conversion) on a base of unique ion combination. This nonlinear optical process doubles the initial laser beam frequency. For example, if an initiated wavelength of 1064 nm (1.06 µm strikes the VIEW-ITTM, disc, it will be observed as green light. |

Configurations: The VIEW-ITTM disc is a ceramic disc, 40 mm in diameter and 5 mm thick. It is available on an adjustable, freestanding base (pictured) for ease of use. It is also available as hand-held metal wand for manual insertion into the laser beam path.
Easy Maintenance: Should the rear surface of VIEW-ITTM become damaged, it can be re-faced easily using fine sandpaper.
Also available VIEW-ITTM Alignment Cards: convenient pocket size alignment cards ideal for the service engineer |

ZAP-ITTM Thermal Paper
ZAP-ITTM, Industry Standard Laser Alignment Thermal-Sensitive Paper.
Simple, Quick, Affordable Laser Beam Alignment
ZAP-ITTM is simple to use. Hold or fasten it in the beam path at the point where the beam imprint is to be recorded. Pulse the laser and a permanent visual record is produced, corresponding to the energy distribution within the laser beam. If the laser being used is continuous wave (CW), you can create a short pulse by Q-switch, mechanical chopper, or by physically turning the laser on and off rapidly.

CamIR 1550nm CAMERA
The CamIR1550offers a robust, compact and real-time imaging system without image lag or decay. When fitted with the optional hand-held display, it provides a portable, go anywhere, self-contained system, with over 3 hours operation time on a single battery charge. The CamIR1550is available in either PAL/CCIR or NTSC/EIA formats. |

Sensitivity as low as 0.2J/cm2with peaked spectral response at 1512nm and 1540nm. Due to the nature of the coating, the sensitivity is non-linear with respect to the incident illumination, which emphasises brighter regions of the image. Tuned partial sensitivity in the ultra-red allows scene illumination with a desk lamp or torch whilst maintaining sensitivity in the 1550nm NIR. The CamIR1550camera unit can be used with or without a lens depending on the application. The camera is sensitive to most 1550nm communication band emitters. |

The CamIR adapter1550 enables standard CCD cameras to image in the NIR range 1495-1595nm. The module is inserted between a large format lens and a CCD camera to give an instant imaging system which extends sensitivity into the telecoms wavelength bands.
AST's proprietry conversion optics converts the 1495-1595nm wavelength band to Si-based CCD detectable wavelengths without the undesirable fading or lag during use. The large format anti-reflection coated input window ensures maximum image resolution is transferred to the attached CCD camera.
The CamIR adapter1550 fits directly to your camera C mount and a range of suitable lens mount adapters are available. |
